โFriendly and helpful staff. Good location with lovely views.
The restaurant menu was excellent. I wish I couldโve stayed more nights to try more meals from the menu. โ
โMaria, who is front of house, was so welcoming and later, in the dining room she tirelessly looked after us and all the other guests. The food was fantastic and I understand her husband is head chef, Joseph Colman. The rooms were attractive and very comfortable with lovely bathrooms. I would certainly recommend this as a wonderful getaway. โ
โAugust 25 stay.First time in Ross. Hotel ideally placed for walk into town and also walk down to river but this walk steep so take your time.Hotel I gave excellent, nothing to complain about stay in king size bedroom.Staff helpful and pleasant. What else do you want for a short stay.โ
โPhil is a great host, he explained and gave us a quick tour of the property, he gave us good recommendations for little excursions. The property was clean and very cosy, I would always recommend for anyone who wants to get away from the busy city life... โ
โWe loved everything about this unique hotel. The Godwin floor tiles are simply superb, but the 'traditional' feel to the hotel adds to the charm. Terrific value, and we will be back.โ
โWe had a lovely stay at the Royal Oak. Hannah was extremely helpful and was quick to respond when i accidentally deleted the message with the keycode!
The room was extremely comfortable and clean.
We had a superb meal in the pub, and the staff were very friendly.
The room was peaceful and quiet, and we enjoyed the views and a glorious sunset.
Im an early riser, and i spend some time identifying the birds in the location.
Even a chicken popped in to say hello!
My partner is diabetic and though...
โGreat place to stay, especially with the dog. Fabulous walking right from the pod door. The pods are great, all clean, the double bed is definitely cosy but their description of the pod on the website is accurate, it is basic but they never profess to be anything else. Barbecue in front of each pod is great, we cooked supper and breakfast on it, for all you carnivores, the butcher in Fownhope is fabulous. If you just need a base to chill out in, this is absolutely perfect.โ
โSuper accommodation. The staff are ultra attentive and the food is first class. Beautiful part of the world to stay in but maybe a little remote for some. Only slight drawback was we were housed in the ground floor room of the boathouse and the noise of people walking around in the room above is very loud. If they got up in the night it wakes you up.โ
โBharat and Anne are very welcoming. They keep Torlands in tip-top condition. It is immaculately clean, and they will tidy your room for you during your stay if you wish. The breakfast is lovely, and there are lots of little things that make you feel welcome or are thoughtful, such as snacks on the tea tray and a torch by the bed. The only downside for me was that the mattress was a little too soft for my back, but others may prefer this, so I would recommend the place.โ
โLovely clean comfy room, evening meal was lovely and continental breakfast was a lovely surprise in the morning. Would definitely recommend a stay here as very conveniently situated for Ross and surrounding areas. โ
โWe had a fantastic stay. We felt so looked after by all staff. We were particularly impressed with the young man who showed us to our room (despite a small key issue) and served us at breakfast - he was so polite and professional, he's an asset to the business!
The room had everything we could need during our stay - comfy beds, nice toiletries provided in the bathroom and the biggest biscoffs I've ever seen!
I would definitely recommend Creates to anyone visiting Monmouth! <3โ
