The food was Excellent - better than the Michelin * restuarants I have been to recently in London and Venice. The grounds are spectacular - all 66 acres of them and its worth visiting just for this alone.
The bedrooms are very nice and confortable. We had an Orangery suite which has Aircon. The Main house rooms do not.
The staff were superb! Expecially compared to some other much more expensive hotels...
โSpacious room with a balcony , seriously cold aircon as well which meant a good nights sleep during the heatwave

โExcellent price, beautiful location, facilities very clean and well equipped bathroom. Wouldโve been nice to have a double mattress instead of two single beds, but it worked well anyway. Excellent stay, no complaintsโ
โWe had a lovely stay!!!! The room was spotless, beautifully decorated with all.the amenities and added extras you could wish for!! The pub itself was lovely - clean with friendly, helpful and attentive staff. Two nice outdoor seating areas, and the beer garden itself was fully enclosed - great for dogs and kids. Hotel and pub were dog friendly. Breakfast was lovely with a good choice of hot and cold offerings! Would highly recommend and will definitely stay again!โ
