“Good accommodation in a great location for our needs. Shower and kitchen a bit small but ok for a short stay. Our host was an unusual character. Hard to get hold of before arrival and then seemingly uncomfortable with dogs? I had selected dog friendly accommodation only but there was no place to confirm dogs in attendance. We were contacted whilst out to say the dog was distressed. Although this was later downgraded. We we contacted or called on each day of our stay (?) which got a...

“Had a lovely weekend here. This hotel was perfect. Nice and quiet but lively enough to provide a pleasant ambiance without ever being noisy or overbearing. Staff throughout were lovely and the food is very good. Would highly recommend if you are looking for somewhere to get away and relax.”

“The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and in a fab location very central to Holmfirth. We were a little worried that it would be a little too noisy with it being above a pub, which would have been our own fault for booking a room over a pub! However, we didn't get in ourselves until around 11.30pm and the noise soon stopped after that. The breakfast was lovely, served in a nice, relaxed room above the bar. Holmfirth itself was really nice with nice shops, cafes, daytime bars, cobbled...

“Absolutely wonderful accomodation. Comfortable bed, clean amenities, exceptionally cosy. Check in was easy, with info forwarded the morning of, so we could just get in, get the keys, and be on with our day. The proprietor let us check out later for a good price as my partner was unwell and needed extra time to recover. We appreciate the exceptional hospitality.”
