“Lovely place and perfect for our need.”

“Amazing stay. Staff couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful. Often hotels state pet friendly, but these guys added some really nice useful touches, to make us all welcome. Beautiful property in a great location.”

“Altogether a splendid experience. Would certainly return when in that part of Norfolk.”

“Very friendly staff, clean comfortable bed overall a lovely stay”

“The rooms were lovely and big, the only issues were that either the jacuzzi bath didn't work or we couldn't work out how to use it, as we couldn't find instructions. The windows are quite draughty and we couldn't work out how to turn off the bathroom light. However, the bed was very comfortable, there is a nice kitchenette, and it's very well situated!”

“The staff are very friendly here with a genuine aim to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The rooms are set out motel style with each room having direct access to outside the property. Overall, the rooms are basic but more importantly, clean. However, for the rate I booked was £160. This amount of money, I found it poor value. “Very charming staff, great breakfast as well as thoughtful service, sorted a breakfast for my hubby to go and even remembered the order next day. Room was lovely and toasty, just what you need after a frolick in the forest. Slept very well. Lots of walks nearby, even saw owls. EXCEPTIONAL food, rare for these days they cater for folks with proper appetites! Loved the friendly field cat! Thank you for a wonderful time we loved it. 🙏”

“Sue and Clive have a well deserved good reputation. We wanted an immersive English countryside experience in a 400 year old Inn, and that is what we got. A delicious full English breakfast is included in the room price.”

“Clean room. Excellent staff, kept the kitchen open for us as we arrived a bit late on a Sunday. All good.”

“Its a quirky building and we had to duck a couple of times. The room was clean and comfy with all the amenities required. The restaurant offered a good selection and did cater for Gluten Free. We ended up having a very enjoyable 3 courses with drinks. The complementary breakfast was delicious too. All the staff we interacted with were polite and lovely but the star was Zoe. She showed us to our room, made sure we had a table near a breeze in the restaurant. Made recommendations and was so...

“Quaint old coaching inn set in a medieval village. Hearty full English breakfast. Helpful and friendly staff. A good place to tour Norfolk from.”
