โSpacious room with a balcony , seriously cold aircon as well which meant a good nights sleep during the heatwave

โI stayed in a refurbished room which was decorated to a high standard and spotlessly clean. Check in / out was simple and quick. Sadly though, room was unbelievably hot - even with windows open and the provided fan. No shower - only a bath, which I didn't spot on booking. Made it tricky to wash hair, as bath doesn't have shower attachment or taps! โ
โWe liked that we had a ground floor bedroom which very nice. The breakfast was superb. The staff that we met were very pleasant and helpful, nothing was too much trouble for them.โ
โFriendly staff, very nice room with coffee machine and complementary drinks in the fridge. We had nice dinner and breakfast in the pub, was convenient for us to stay one night in the area.
The only downside was the sofa bed was not so comfortable and really squeaky! But the kids slept ok and we appreciated being able to stay with our 2 kids in the room.โ
โWe needed an overnight bed and breakfast option after attending a wedding at nearby Farnham Castle. Dawyk Beech fitted the bill perfectly and was less expensive than an overnight at the castle. Our en suite room was a very generous size overlooking the lovely garden with a comfortable king bed.
We needed to check in before the official time of 4.30 to get changed for the wedding and wouldn't be back at the guesthouse until after midnight. I called ahead of our stay to confirm this was OK and...
โI was really pleased with the accommodation, and found it really nice. I was dropped off, so did not require the parking which was directly outside and free. The room was comfortable, breakfast bits provided and the shower facilities although not ensuite were at hand and served me well. I would stay again.โ
โIdeal for our requirements, staff looked after us well. The room and en-suite was great. It was extremely hot on arrival, easily sorted by opening the windows and putting on a super electric fan which reduced the heat in minutes. โ
