"We loved the central location of this property, along with the lovely gardens and pool at the end of the day. It was the perfect hotel while staying in this Colonial city. While the rooms weren't fancy, the property had so many cool areas to hang out in both indoors and outdoors it was a great trade off. Our room overlooked the garden/pool area and I can see where that would be a must to ask for instead of something facing out to the street or inner courtyard. The staff were helpful and we would definitely recommend the hotel to friends."

"I really love the room super clean and comfortable, very traditional decorated. A little bit noisy in the morning because the restaurant but that is part of being in Mexico . Noisy and loud, we are the most happy people in the world."

"No iron in the room , you can request one but they ask you for an ID and you need to leave it until you return it, you can hear everything since doors are like blinders on the bottom. Tv didn’t work. And very very small no vanity space. Very close to everything and staff super polite.."

"Pug Seal is a great boutique option. It is right in the centre and some of the rooms can be noisy due to bars in the area. Oaxaca is a noisy place in general! We stayed in Mar room and this was a quiet room. Breakfast is amazing service is outstanding. A great boutique hotel option. "
