“Very clean and cozy place but if you don’t have a car or a friend who could give you a ride it’s better to use a hotel in the central village. If you drive this is the hotel. Its swimming pool is very nice as well as its garden. ”

“I rated my stay very high at the Mermaid Inn because it was a special detour in the very charming city of Rye. The inn was perfectly located. The food was excellent, from delicious fish and chips on the pub to a 5 star dinner in the dining room. Keep in mind this is a very old building with crooked steps and low ceilings. It may not be suitable for everyone. Our room was adorable and very comfortable. ”

“Friendly staff and very clean and tidy rooms. We were on the 2nd floor so the views were very nice too.
There is on-site parking available for a fee but make sure to reserve your spot in advance.
Breakfast was complimentary and it was a buffet so a variety to choose from and You can make your own fresh waffles!!!!
