"Very good internet connection. Lovely granola at breakfast. Toaster super efficient. Our Room had a quirky floor, where the doors to the bathroom, and to the corridor had a gap. Parking 1st come 1st served, and have to be expert parkers. Loved the room, and the staff."

We were upgraded to a superior room, which was wonderful and clean but the room was far too hot because it was next to the main working fireplace of the hotel. We had to have the window open the whole time to cool down, (but didn’t make too much difference in temperature) and then smoke from the chimney came into the room."
