“The Pilsley Inn is the quintessential English country side experience. The room was thoughtfully appointed and way bigger than expected. Cozy bed, nice linens and thoughtful touches everywhere. The staff were delightful, each and every one of them. And the food…omg, the food! So good! We wish we booked more than one night!”

“One night stay, room(plum porter) much bigger than photos , clean comfy and in keeping with the building. Staff very friendly, beer spot on food good. We didn't want breakfast as we were going for lunch, just. Suited us. Lovely little village, church peaceful, sound of the bells chiming, like going back in time. Nothing we didn't like, beautiful hanging baskets, beer terrace, a very popular, dog friendly pub, thanks.”
“The property generally was very good Staff were very considerate. The problem was that to access the accommodation was only by scaling a flight of stone steps from the car park 13 steps and then to access any of the rooms on the next floor another flight of steep steps had to be negotiated. All of this makes it very unsuitable for any with disabilities. This should be made clear when looking to book accommodation”
