“After a brutal day of traveling in from Canada, delayed flights, missed connections and hours of transit commutes around london, I ended up at this lovely spot. I couldn't have asked for a better ending after a day of hell. The pub is adorable, food amazing, staff incredibly helpful and friendly, and the room spacious, clean and cozy. I would hands down recommend it and will be making it a staple in future travels. Thank you!”

“The pub abd the associated guest rooms are excellent. The area is quiet and peaceful, with easy access to the A10 routes to London or Cambridge. The local town of Ware is a gem for dining and shopping.”

“Nice big car park just off the high street with parking included in the stay, check in desk at the back of the building just off the car park which was neat and easy, room was well appointed clean and comfortable. Pub downstairs with food and drink (although just as expensive as everywhere seems to be these days with £5.50-£6 ish pints). Got stuck in the car park for 20 mins or so on my out whilst they got a beer delivery and the truck blocked the only route out of the car park but I imagine...

“Lovely rustic pub / hotel. Room was great with the most comfortable bed I’ve slept in for some time. Kitchen was closed for refurbishment but only a short walk into the centre of the village. Good choice of cask ales in the bar. Will stop here again if work brings me back to the area”

“We rarely get a break from our business so we are always so happy to find little gems like the Brocket. We loved the relaxed charm of the whole place. The roads accessing it may be a little windy & tight but Ayot is such a beautiful area it is worth the trip. We parked outside the pub & were greeted by the friendly team who showed us the room which had water left out & tea/coffee making facilities. It's everything you would expect from a 14th century inn.
