The remote control for the TV was old and the buttons were hard to push. But that’s the only thing I could say that was less than desirable.

"This was our second stay at the Standish Motel and it was the same as last year. It is an older building but has been maintained well and very clean. It is convenient to the downtown area that has some good dining options."

Halls and room a little musty, but running the a/c cleared the smell. Pool appeared a bit on the murky side, despite a chlorine-tablet floatie bobbing around.
We did not attend the complimentary breakfast, but there was a waffle maker, yogurt, juice, etc. available.
I liked the split staircase with wooden banister leading to the second floor. NOTE: Be sure to request a room on the first floor if you don't climb stairs; there is no elevator."
