Lovely place, with beautiful location, good food and very friendly staff. We only stayed for a one night stopover and wished we had been there for longer.
très beau cadre , très bonne ambiance, accueil très sympathique.

I wouldn’t go again.
Chateau de Beauvais was quite hard to find, but we eventually did get there! There was no water when we arrived, the result, apparently, of a power problem. These were resolved but occurred again later in our stay. The owner was overseas and had 2 young people running the facility. Not sure about their experience? The accommodation is ageing and it all needs a refurb. Important to keep the historic elements but the bathrooms and furniture are old and tired. We didn’t eat there, so can’t comment.

Liked: Cleanliness, room comfort
No directions were given in advance. We travelled from the East on N941, found a small left turn sign and followed very small country roads. Asked three people for directions. (Found out later, there was a better road with signs further down the N941!)

Far from the maddening crowd.
Nice big 18th century house in the middle of nowhere. A place to relax but not in winter. The owners, a Dutch couple, try their best but ir’s more like a rural lodging than a hotel. We were the only guedts and one of the rooms was quite cold. Ostrich and plenty of farm anímala in the grounds.
