“We stayed at this Hotel in June while visiting all the WW2 sites and doing 3 tours . The hotel was fabulous could not fault , near to everything , the welcome we received from Etienne was amazing from checking in to vacating and helping out with train suggestions and printing out tickets was incredible, the personal touches from this gentleman was truly a hugh asset for the Hotel , and a true professional , polite & friendly . The cleaning team were amazing and our room was cleaned daily ....

“Great location, good size rooms, two options for breakfast, close to most attractions and meeting place for tour pickups.”

“편안하고 쾌적하게 잘 이용했습니다. 방안이 좀 추운것만 빼고는 괜찮았습니다. 리셉션에 문의시 바로 옆 레스토랑 할인 쿠폰을 받을 수 있구요, 헤어드라이기도 받아 사용 가능합니다. 참 로비에 전자렌지가 있었어요. 간단하게 데워먹을 음식 가져오시는 것도 좋아요.”

“무척 실내가 넓고 화려했음. 차없이 이동했는데 기차역에서 걸어서 15분 정도 걸려요. 나름 괜찮았음. 화장실에 샤워기가 손잡이 가영하는거로 전환이 안되었어요. ”

“The room was comfortable but the building is old and smells musty. Not sure it can be helped with the proximity to the sea.”

“Nice hotel! Vehicle parking available across the street towards the pier. Friendly staff! Breakfast was very good!! Room was clean and comfortable. I stayed on the 3rd floor. Good to know: no elevator access to upper levels; stairs only. Not a big deal imho. Nice area! Great location; close to WWII historic sites. About a 15 minute drive to the American Military Cemetery, and about a 1.5 hour drive to Mont Saint Michel to the southwest and Le Havre area to the north east. I would stay here...

“Small rooms…little room for two suitcases. Basic but adequate breakfast. Easy location…easier to drive to town center. Good for night before WWII beaches. AC not very strong. Noise could be heard from outside hotel (guests watch TV, horses at vet clinic) and inside (kids on a field trip enjoying the next room over!) Adequate, but nothing special.”

“We stayed in the guesthouse in the back with three bedrooms and three toilets and showers with a kitchen. Large space for six. Bayeaux is lovely and the Castel is a perfect location within it.”
