“This is a beautiful property located close to Normandy. It was a perfect place for us as a base from which to visit Omaha, Utah and Juno beaches, as well as the American and German cemeteries. The Hotel is in an elegant chateaux that has been converted into lovely rooms. We had a suite that was roomy and comfortable, with a great bathroom. Stunning grounds and gardens. A great pool. And the restaurant was over the top. Oliver and John are warm and friendly hosts. Elegant setting, amazing food...

“Das Frühstück war reichlich.süss bis herzhaft,alles dabei.Sehr guter Schlafkomfort.Personal freundlich , man sollte schon etwas englisch oder französisch können.Die Lage war ideal .2min zum Hafenbecken und den Restaurants. Parken drei Meter vor der Zimmertür fand ich super. Preis Leistung fand ich fair ”

“We liked the Holiday Inn Express Caen/Epron. It was new, very clean and the staff was exceptionally helpful. The only drawback is there isn’t anything within walking distance. It’s kind of in a business area so you can’t walk to a cafe or even a grocery store. We had a car and were comfortable driving everywhere so it wasn’t a problem but it could be if you’re expecting it to be in an area that is walkable. ”
