And since the Japanese never waste they actually pick off the flower buds and boil them with vinegar to eat! You can buy a bag to pick the flower buds and the sweet girl at the counter too the time to translate the recipe for me in English from her phone!

"Excellent stay. Very friendly staff as most Okinowans are. Rooms were very spacious and clean. Hotel has several restaurants and gift shop options. Breakfast was excellent with about 100 food options to pick from each morning. I recommend the Japanese only breakfast. Beach was gorgeous and right next to the hotel. Parking costs 500 yen per day. Indoor pool was large and clean. There are many other amenities. "
