"The suite was clean, spacious and equipped with the absolute basics in terms of kitchen bits and bobs. Amazingly there was a top loader washing machine! You could always ask for other items, staff and manager were especially helpful. Useful contacts were all displayed at the reception, taxi, breakfast lunch and dinner available to order. The beech is approx 1 mile and walked to it most days. Good selection of restaurants on the beechfront and along the way, plus shops, wine/beer and pharmacies....

I had a family member who was with us who described this place as superb!! The setup of the rooms is pretty in terms of the bedding that’s used. I absolutely loved that there was hot water majority of the times in the shower and it was hot water like I haven’t experienced very often in guesthouses in India. "Close to the main railway station. DO NOT get a front facing room as you will be kept awake most of the night from the train horns! Also had a bite to eat - when I went to pay, reception DID NOT HAVE CHANGE for 500 rupees!!! Young man (on night/evening shift) on reception was very helpful and friendly, speaking pretty good English."
