The clean room was lovely, and Francesco an excellent, helpful host who provided thoughtful travel tips and treats. The air conditioning was a bonus given the recent heat.

Room and overall space was clean, fresh and stunning. Complimentary coffee, snacks and homemade cookies were beyond excellent!! You can really tell when hotel/b n b owners love what they do and want to make a guest feel welcomed and Francesco is that owner. He was super accommodating and helpful throughout our entire stay. I will definitely be staying here anytime I’m in Salerno. The location was perfect as well!! The port to catch a ferry to positano, Capri, Almalfi etc was a short 6 minute walk away. The bus stop was also a short 2 min walk away. We went to Vietri Sul Mare and it was only a 10 minute ride from the bus stop. Thank you for everything Francesco! ☺️🫶

My husband and I spent a full week at Aquablu and absolutely loved the room, location, and our host! Francesco is very accommodating, made our stay very special with little touches of local delicacy! I would highly recommend Aquablu for a beautiful stay on Amalfi coast

The hospitality we received from Francesco was the best that I’ve ever received. We were greeted in person at the entrance of the building and was immediately given some beautiful history of the building we were staying in. Francesco is very responsive to messages and the suite was absolutely gorgeous and very clean.

Amazing stay in Solerno!

My partner and I had an Incredible stay with Aquablue, the host was extremely attentive and kind and went above and beyond to make sure we had the best trip possible! He also gave great recommendations for wear to eat and visit in the local area. Thank you Aquablue! I would highly recommend this property for your getaway ☺️

Absolutely amazing place to stay at. Francesco welcomed us at the door and showed us around the room. He Also gave us recomondasions during our stay of witch place to eat and what to see etc… and absolutely amazing place to stay at Salerno. The room was super clean and where located in an perfect place. This was our honey moon and we got champagne at the door and we felt reallly welcomed. We are going to stay here next time in salerno and will recomend to friends and family

Francesco was so amazing. He was so attentive to our needs and helped with planning adventures and even last minute arranged for a driver for our group to Sorrento. We travel quite a bit and he is the best host we have ever had in all our experiences. He has a big heart and we will never forget him or our stay at his beautiful place.

What a beautiful place to stay. From the moment we arrived Francesco gave us a beautiful warm welcome. His service was outstanding! He gave us a welcome gift of local pastries that were so delicious. We stayed there three days and wished we could stay longer. Everything he suggested to eat was outstanding! He suggested places to see that were amazing. We want to go and stay there again!

You got to stay here

There is nothing less to say than amazing! The wonderful Francesco got in touch before we even left the UK and he was there to meet us at the apartment. We had a wonderful 2 nights in the suite with a beautiful view. The place was spotless, close to everything and we would 100% recommend.

I had an incredible stay at Francesco’s Airbnb in Salerno, Italy! As someone who’s used to renting in the States, I was pleasantly surprised by how fantastic everything was. The place was immaculate, thoughtfully designed with a beautiful ocean motif, and had all the amenities we needed for our four-day stay. Francesco was a wonderful host, always checking in to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The location was perfect—just a five-minute walk to a stunning beach, which was definitely one of the best I’ve seen along the Amalfi Coast. The pier for ferries to the Amalfi islands was about a 30-minute walk away, but it was a pleasant, scenic stroll. Overall, the entire experience was beyond my expectations, and I would absolutely give it five stars. I can’t wait to return next time I’m in the area!

An awesome experience

The place was very clean, the bed was comfortable, the air conditioning and the ceiling fan was very convenient the Acquablu suites were close to everything but the best part of it was Francesco, he was absolutely AMAZING. He rescued us from the train station since we couldn’t find a taxi. He helped with reservations for a private driver as well as for taxis. He helped us with reservations for a ferry and he also, recommend a wonderful restaurant, because of Acquablu Suites and Francesco we had a marvelous time in Salerno. THANK YOU FRANCESCO!!

This bedroom/bathroom suite was great with common space that we never had time to use. The problem was the 52 steps to get up to it once we got into the building. None of the other reviews mentioned that fact. Since we're 77 and 69, we would have probably thought twice about renting there. Everything else was above and beyond with the owner of the suite dropping off a couple food surprises as added luxuries. There were attractions and restaurants within walking distance of 15-30 minutes. Salerno is very hilly, so there is going to be a hill to walk down and back up to get anywhere.

I stayed at Acquablu with a friend for three nights in mid-August. The location is convenient for getting to the port, waterfront, shops, restaurants etc. Check-in and check-out were both straightforward and efficient. The room was very clean and comfortable (the air conditioning was especially appreciated given the time of year!), with a great view. The review would be incomplete without mentioning the kindness of the host, Francesco. Francesco was very welcoming and really made us feel at home. He provided a lot of great recommendations for Salerno and the surrounding region, including the nearby town of Vietri-sul-Mare and a boat tour of the Amalfi Coast. On top of that, we were even greeted on arrival with delicious home-made sweets made by his wife! The location and amenities at Acquablu were already great, but the hosts took it to another level. The real rating should be 11/10. Grazie mille!

Francesco is an absolute gentlemen and was very helpfull during our 4 nights stay. He proposed us great activities and was able to book us tour when we needed. Pricing was good for the Amalfie coast and the area is quite but about 25 minute walk to the ferries.
