“The hotel had no air conditioning, which was not a problem except that the windows could only be open a small crack.”

“Nice hotel - but where our room was it was VERY loud in the morning. Also the ladies room in the gym had no toilet paper. It seems like a nice hotel just a bit dated. The food is...okay but the drinks are fine. I didn't use the pool but it looked lovely.”

“Whatever this place is, it’s not a hotel in the usual sense of the word. There are no staff. Guests are simply left to enter and fend for themselves. The building is tired. Our shower was blocked with hair and wouldn't drain. I had to remove the hair myself. Paper thin walls meant that not only did we hear every movement and conversation from above, the snoring of the gentleman upstairs could be clearly heard at 4 in the morning, even with earplugs in. In a two week trip around Scotland...
