“We had a great time staying here, the pool was perfect in the afternoon and everything is such a short walk away. They also had some beach chairs and umbrellas for us to take down to the beach. Samara is a great town and this hotel was the perfect place to stay.”

Playas Samara and Carrillo are a quick drive in either direction. We were glad to be cloistered among the giant trees at this property instead of close to the chaos of a beach town. “The Sunset Shack was fantastic for our family trip to Nosara. The beach is super close, and the town is very cute. We were right in the middle of it all. Monkeys in the mango trees on the property in the morning, and iguanas roaming all day. The food, the staff, and the hotel itself were all 5 stars!
