“The view was incredible! I could spend four days by the pool. It was great to have the shuttle (4x4) to the beach. It is not a swimming beach at all, but it is great for watching the waves and reading a book. Drinks were delicious, though the good was hit or miss. (The tuna tartare was incredible; the seafood platter was a sad disappointment.) The staff were very kind and helpful and there was yoga on the weekends with a transcendent view.”

“Let's start with the positive notes: The rooms were clean. The hotel offers a lot of nice hiking trails and when lucky, a great view to the volcano. However, there are a lot of negative points. The value for money in the restaurant is really bad. The food is of secondary quality at the price of what higher quality hotel restaurants charge in Costa Rica. Prices are just available in USD which for European guests, given the fx rate, is a bad deal and also not common compared to other hotels....
