“I doubt you can find a better view of the Arenal Volcano than at Arenal Observatory Lodge, plus the property is gorgeous and filled with wildlife (so many birds and a troop of monkeys swung by one evening). This isn't a fancy place — more old school — but if you're looking for a peaceful space to reset and experience nature, it's perfect. We'd stay here again.”

“1000000% recommended. Everyone was super nice and very accommodating to our two year old son. One of the staff even gave him a yellow balloon with a string to play with when she saw him crying. Ample space for my som to run around, close to everything you need, nice restaurant on the main floor, and comfy room with large windows to let natural light in. They are very patient with families and that for us was really appreciated!!!”

Large bedrooms with large bathrooms and helpful staff We especially loved all the on-site hot springs, especially in the evenings as the pools are atmospherically lit, and you don’t have to drive in the dark for the experience! Very well located near good restaurants. ”
