We have been going to this hotel for the past 20 years. It has a great location and the staff is friendly. They have a nice restaurant by the beach, but unfortunately, their buffet is very disappointing. I would prefer not to stay over the weekend because they host events with loud music.

I enjoyed that the rooms were clean and cool for the 100 f degree weather. The buffet was great, and the pools were an enjoyable experience.

Restaurant was really good and great service. The Hotel esthetic aspect is not good looking at all, floor tiles broken all over the place, stairs are very dangerous, black tile in the stairway and poor lightning is very dangerous and room service is questionable. It definitely needs a lot of renovation done.

I loved it!!! kids friendly ❤️, family group we really enjoyed it. Beach so close is a plus, the rooms is the only thing I can say needs a renovation but nothing bad to say. We'll stay again.

The rooms were clean, the staff very friendly at all times and locations. The parking lot got pretty full. However, you can hear a lot of noise from The outside. The Venue is good has great amenities for Adults and kids

I was very excited to go to San Carlos for the first time and the reviews of San Carlos plaza were very good on Expedia. The hotel is in very bad shape and needs to be upgraded. Our rooms smelled so bad the staff sprayed them with some kind of cinnamon smell that lasted a little while and then we used cologne to mask the smell. Some of the staff was friendly and some not so much. The pools were very dirty and you could not see the bottom. The food was very poor. The bathrooms were horrible the pressure from the shower was not good and no hot water. The only thing I can say was good is it’s right on the beach and that part is nice. When we check out they asked us how our stay was and my spouse said there was so many problems and would rather just not say anything. The staff said they were used to this response by people who stayed there so they know about the issues. Anyway I don’t normally leave reviews but after this stay I felt I needed to.

Nice location. Right on the beach! Nice pools, great views of the sea. We enjoyed the suite with two balconies. Shower water pressure was very very low but we managed. Friendly, helpful staff.
