2 pools out of 5 pools were heated. Towels you have to sign a waiver to get towels in case they are lost you have to pay a fee, towels are located at front desk. They take your drivers license away as a deposit yet you need a drivers license to drive in Mexico also remember your passport it’s not for you to give them to hold. Room was OK considering was a two bed luxury room, showerhead in restroom, Very low pressure. Very low hot/warm water. Make sure you lock your luggage a specific drawer or items inside were shuffled. That was a red flag, this was mentioned to front desk. We were sober as this trip was a sobriety anniversary. We were very alert of our stay people around the hotel seem friendly and kind. No breakfast included with stay.
First room flooded so we got moved to anothwr room which had no fridge nor microwave. Lightning in barhroom/ sink is very minimal and things are old outdated and stained.
There are no icemachines so if you need ice you have to to to thw restaurant and get it from a cooler.
A day before our check out someone walked into our room without knocking or announcing and I was half dressed.
I didn't feel safe anymore so my daughtwr and I decided to leave one day before our original plans.
I paid 800 dollars for 3 nights! Mind blowing.
However, staff was very friendly and helpful especially front desk and housekeeping.
We had a great stay at San Carlos Plaza. Its location offers a quiet area amid the stunning mountains and a beautiful bay at the Sea of Cortes. The property is well kept, it has plenty of parking space and the staff is very attentive. The room was clean, spacious and beds were comfortable.
We didn’t use the cafeteria but had dinner at Los Arbolitos, which offered plenty of choices, generous portions and great service, in front of the beach.
All in all, our 2-night stay was a very enjoyable!
Outdated everything here. No wifi, no coffee Sunday morning. The parking was not big enough. The door of our room did not work. The bathroom was in bad shape. It was just extremely old. Check in was insanely slow. My room was ready 2 hours after check in hour.
Hot water on the shower goes and come and coffee machine doesn’t works
