ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE

The room was a *non-smoking* room, but smelled like cigarette smoke, among other bad smells. The bed smelled like urine. The sheets were sticky. It was loud. I lasted less than an hour before getting online and booking a different hotel for the evening. There was mold on the walls. The hotel is not as advertised at all. I hope that travelocity pulls it off their listings. I hope no one else books it thinking they are booking a decent place and getting an absolute dump. I have stayed in nicer hostels in developing nations. Also they advertise wifi, there is no wifi. Or air conditioning. I wish I would have snapped a few photos before rushing off to the other hotel. The photos on here are nothing like what you actually get at the place. COMPLETELY AWFUL. DO NOT BOOK A ROOM AT THIS HOTEL. The staff also was unfriendly. Completely false advertising.

Very dated hotel. Good breakfast. Great staff. Rooms were hot. Sheets were very old. No way this is a 4 star hotel. Orbitz got this rating very wrong.

Achterstallige barakken

Na een lange reis kwamen wij aan bij het hotel, eerste indruk is prima en de receptie ziet er netjes en verzorgd uit. Wij hadden onze koffers uit de auto gehaald en bij het check-in kwamen wij erachter dat onze kamer niet in dit gebouw zou zijn, maar een 100 meter verderop in een soort van barakken. Koffer opnieuw in de auto geladen en naar het gebouw gereden, vanaf buiten zag dit er oud en vervallen uit, en dit was precies hetzelfde binnen. Nadat we de gangdeur opende, kwam er een muffe penetrerende lucht die niet te houden was, snel doorgelopen naar onze kamer deur en deze open gedraaid.. De geur in de kamer was iets minder maar niet om fantastisch te noemen voor een 4 sterren HOTEL. We hebben de hele dag de kamer geventileerd en nog was dit niet voldoende. De kamer is oud en klein, vlekken op het tapijt. Het was 36 graden en wij gingen meteen door naar het zwembad, waar wij erachter kwamen dat een badmuts VERPLICHT is, deze zijn aan te schaffen voor 3 euro per stuk, complete onzin voor een 4 sterren hotel, het lijkt net of je in een inrichting zit en zwemt. Mijn vriendin kon niet in het zwembad omdat zij lang haar heeft, en de badmuts die verkocht werd, waren te klein. Hierdoor werd zij genoodzaakt om te pootje baden aan de zijkant... Zelfs dit was amper mogelijk omdat het water een meter onder de rand staat, zo kon ze alleen met d'r tenen het water aanraken. Receptionist wilde mij niet helpen met het reserveren van een tafel bij een restaurant in de buurt. (Italiaans)

Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was basic and old looking not very clean. Weird rule that you have to wear a swimming hat in the pool. Only breakfast available no dinner or lunch. Short taxi ride to centre.

Travelling in Pisa

I have stayed at Park Hotel California before. Good value for money. Plenty of car parking should you be driving. I prefer not to drive in Italy. The bus (Lam Rossa) goes past the entrance. You can get the bus either at Airport, Train Station or outside "leaning Tower".

Nicht nochmal in diesem Hotel !!!

Altes Hotel nach amerikanischem Motel/Lodge Vorbild. Die 4-Sterne gibt es nur bei Nacht und klarem Himmel. Der Betrieb hat den Anschein, als wären Personal und Gebäude auf dem Stand von vor 20 Jahren stehen geblieben. Für Zimmer und Service gibt es maximal 2 Sterne. Das Hotel liegt direkt an der Superstrada und in der Einflugschneise. Entsprechend ist der Lärmpegel.

Goed hotel als je op door reis bent.

Vond het hotel zeker geen 4 sterren waard, kon beter onderhouden worden. Was een soort barak waar ze 4 kamer in gebouwt hadden en de kamers waren gehoorig. Het ontbijt vol deed ook niet er was een warm en koud buffet belooft maar alleen een matig koud buffet. Had deed gezegd en er werd verteld dat er een andere eigenaar in zat. De kamer was schoon en elke dag werd het bed verschoond. Het is een goed hotel als je op door reis bent, maar niet voor 14 dagen.

Katastrophe

Sehr enttäuschend. Dieses Hotel hat keine 4 Sterne verdient. Wir waren zu Dritt (2 Er. + 1 Kind). Dieses "Hotel" erinnert an ein Kinderferienlager. Es sind mehrere kleine "Bungalows" / Wohneinheiten, sehr hellhörig. Wir konnten jedes Wort aus den Nachbarzimmern verstehen. Sehr kleine dunkle Zimmer, extrem kleines Bad - allgemein schon sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Frühstück war absolut ungenügend. Wir baten um etwas Butter. Als uns der junge Mann in Jogginghose mit einem kurzen "finito" antworte, haben wir Ihn auf die 4 Sterne hingewiesen, darauf kam ein älterer Herr und brachte ranzige Butter die er wahrscheinlich noch irgendwo gefunden hatte. Kaffeeautomat ging auch nicht. Nur widerwillig hat man dann das Buffet mit 5 Scheiben Mortadella und 5 Scheiben Käse aufgefüllt, nachdem der ursprüngliche Käse bei 33 Grad schon in sich verlaufen war. Den Pool konnten wir nicht nutzen, da er nur mit Badekappe benutz werden darf, diese hatten wir nicht. Außerdem ist er nur zwischen 10:00 - 20:00 Uhr geöffnet. Für Gäste die Tagesausflüge planen, daher nicht nutzbar. Wir sind nach einer Nacht wieder abgereist, weil es kein Zustand war.

Ne vous fiez pas aux étoiles

En ayant lu les avis sur cet établissement, je ne m'attendais pas à un véritable 4 étoiles, ce qui m'a évité d'être déçu, cependant l'intégralité des remarques que j'avais pu lire se sont avérées justes et fondées. - Piscine : besoin d'un bonnet de bain (payant disponible à l’accueil) -Chambre propre mais vieillissante : salle de bain peu pratique, pas de gel douche ou shampoing en petit format, seul un gros distributeur de savon, pas de mini-bar (le frigo étant pratique par les fortes chaleurs de l'été) -Petit déjeuner plus que moyen : pas de déjeuner salé chaud comme vanté dans la description, passé une certaine heure le buffet se vide et laisse les nouveau arrivant sur le carreau... -voisinage douteux : le soir de nombreuses prostitués sont visibles aux alentours
