Entire staff was very friendly and polite, throughout the front desk to the restaurant. Rooms were clean and very nice. Would definitely come back.

The verandas were incredibly comfortable. The views of the mountains were lovely, and the presence of playful parrots was so fun. The spa was terrific. The pool area was fun and lots of space for sunbathing.

This property is gorgeous...has old world charm and maintained very well. The staff all know English or try their best and they also frequently check in about your stay. There are several restaurant experiences to choose from and they accept the dollar. I would absolutely stay here again!

Extremely disappointed with the hotel's airport transportation service. Despite booking in advance, the shuttle never arrived, leaving me stranded for over an hour. This lack of reliability from the management was deeply disappointing and significantly impacted my stay.

We were only there for one night, but it was a pleasant stay in a hotel located close to the airport that had a resort feel.

We stayed for one night before our departure the next morning. The resort is an oasis of luxury in not a very desirable area. Aside from convenience to the airport, the location has nothing much to offer. You certainly wouldn't leave the premises for an evening stroll. Once ensnared, customers have no where else to go. The hotel seems to take advantage of these circumstances and their clientele to charge truly extravagant prices in their restaurant with poor (_slow_) service and subpar food that is cold on arrival. It was actually the worst dining experience we had in all of our stay in Costa Rica. It seems like the lack of any local competition provides no incentive to focus on the quality of the customer experience. I'm sorry then to not provide a strong recommendation.

This hotel was like a resort. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There were many things to do on site such as pool, restaurants, spa, driving range, tennis court and gift shop. Pros: -many amenities -nice staff -clean comfortable rooms -free juices, bar tending class, movie nights, etc Cons: -its very windy so sitting outside or playing tennis was difficult -the airport shuttle only runs a few times a day and doesnt run later in the evening -not many vegan options and no vegan desserts -bathroom has a barn door which never shuts properly and has a large gap between the wall and the door. There is no privacy. The door is also frosted so getting up in the middle of the night to use the washroom is disturbing to others. Get rid of these! -no fridge or microwave in the room. We had many leftovers and snacks but nowhere to keep them -poolside chairs are a little old -Uber is cheaper than taxi to get to the airport and downtown. Would have been nice to have a shuttle to downtown or the mall

I love this hotel the front desk is great especially Caleb & Jackeline and Gianinna. The spa is fabulous especially Laura. Carlos the bellman is super friendly and helpful and the staff at the restaurants were amazingly tasty. Room service was impeccable and the attention to detail is remarkable - I loved the cold pool and the lounge chairs were downright decadent. I was given an upgrade to the golf view suite and it was a gem. One night my GF and I took part in the rodízio bbq which was a great deal for really feasting on all types of meats. The gym is modern and fully equipped and the grounds offer multiple walking paths if you like to stroll in nature. This hotel has it all. Delicious food, excellent service and beautiful surroundings. You really cannot go wrong booking this little piece of heaven between the mountains and the coffee plantations lis it’s minutes from the airport but feels like a whole different world of natural harmony and blissful peace amidst the kindest of peoples. While I was just there for the final night of my trip to CR, the resort was a lovely splurge - staff were exceptional and the hotel was wonderful. Wish I checked-in earlier to get more time to enjoy it!

Of heaven, this place was a slice of heaven from the very check in the social nature of the employees hear the laid-back style of the environment the delicious food, luxurious pools and spacious apartments with beautiful views of the mountains and the coffee plantations. It is an absolute wonder the two pools are lovely. One is warmer. The other one is cold which I love and the spa is fantastic. Make sure and ask for Laura. She’s incredible mind blowing massage and all I can say is the staff Jacalene And all the people who work here including Caleb and the other fantastic people who work here this is a wonder to behold anyone who comes to San Jose. They should stay here either on their way in or on their way out and possibly as long as you can. .

Tuvimos una experiencia maravillosa en este Hotel Marriott. Nos alojamos 2 noches con niños, es un hotel muy familiar. El personal nos hizo sentir bienvenidos desde el primer momento, el cuarto donde nos hospedamos era amplio, el baño también. La vista a la montaña es espectacular! Todo se siente muy limpio y bien tenido. Las camas y almohadas son muy cómodas. La comida es rica y vale la pena incluir el desayuno con la reserva. El servicio de shuttle al hotel es muy conveniente. Personalmente recomiendo este hotel.
