This is my new go to place to stay when I’m in the area. It feels like you have the property to yourself and the staff is amazing. The beds are comfortable, AC is great and room is comfortable. This was my second stay at Hotel Villa Los Candiles, and once again, it exceeded all expectations. The hotel is wonderfully quiet, the rooms are spacious, and the bed is incredibly comfortable, I slept like a rock! What truly sets this place apart is the staff. Olga and Arlen in the restaurant are exceptional. Their warmth, attention to detail, and genuine effort to make every guest feel at home is something you rarely find. They made each meal feel special and personal. I came back because of how great my first stay was and this visit just confirmed it: Villa Los Candiles is a true gem. I’ll definitely return again.

The family suite was exceptional. Service was top tier from all angles. Breakfast is typical costa rican food which I liked. Security on site all evenings which was a nice touch. Neighborhood is walkable. We spent a good amount of time walking back and forth to restaurants and it was completely safe.

Had a lovely stay with my mom in February. The gentleman at the front desk was very friendly and helped us get our bags up to the room. The room was clean and air conditioned and had a great big window with a beautiful mountain view. In the morning, the kitchen staff were extremely pleasant and made our breakfast to order. My only complaint was that the shower was set up a little awkwardly and had trouble draining properly, resulting in a puddle at our feet whilst we showered. Overall, it was a very nice stay and I would definitely stay here again.
