Loved our Stay!

Hector, the manager, was a great point of contact and host. The hotel was very nice and beautiful. The room was great, spacious, and comfortable. Location was great as well, a few steps away from Parque Juarez and a nice stroll from Zona Centro. We felt very safe and the staff was wonderful as well. If you are looking for a place and have not been to SMA before, this is a wonderful little find and you won’t be disappointed.

Our stay at Hotel Apapacho was amazing. It was clean and the staff were extremely nice to us. We really liked that it was kind of hidden, away from the large volume of people, and about a 5-10min walk towards el Centro. We will definitely come back!

A gem! The room was quiet, beautiful, and the sheets and bed was comfortable and had a luxurious feel to it. Staff was friendly and helpful, and the location was perfect. Very walkable to the downtown area.

I stayed at the Hotel Apapacho Boutique in May 2025. This is my 6th visit to SMA and this was the best hotel I've stayed in. The hotel is beautiful, the room was very clean and had wonderful amenities. The staff, front desk in particular were very professional, helpful and responsive to my needs. I would highly recommend this Hotel. FYI if you are traveling from the Mexico City airport to SMA, I highly recommend Bajo Go Shuttle, they picked me up at the airport and then drove me directly to the Hotel. Super convenient.

We stayed 3 nights and we really enjoyed our time at this hotel. This is a true gem in SMA, the area where is located is the most beautiful in town, peaceful and at the same time close to the Jardin. The rooms are very beautiful decorated, amazing bed and all amenities you need. We definitely recommend it to anyone interested in having a restful vacation and fun as well. Staff did an excellent job during our stay. We won’t stay anywhere else after El Apapacho Hotel.

Beautiful rooms in a quiet neighborhood

This modestly priced hotel offers very comfortable rooms in a beautiful setting. Be aware that there’s no restaurant, so the only available coffee is the Nespresso machine in the room. But there are wonderful cafes just minutes away on foot. Hot water for showers was not consistently available, but we made do.

Hector and his staff were great, and we loved our room and the hotel’s location. I would rate the WiFi as spotty to not working at all, which was a bummer for nights when we wanted to Netflix and chill.

An absolutely wonderful stay from start to finish. We had Room 3 which was located off of the street and was extremely quiet. The bed was amazing and the blackout curtain had us sleeping in each day. Great service as well, whether at the reception desk, room service, or the rooftop bar/pool. Our flight out of Leon wasn’t until 6:30pm and the hotel held our bags until for us until we caught an Uber at 2:30pm (check-out is at 11am). A great time no doubt and we will definitely be back.

Great boutique hotel with very friendly service. It's a small hotel with a quaint lobby and small balcony. They have someone in the lobby 24 hours but you do need to knock if you are coming back to the hotel late.

This property was absolutely stunning. My favorite part of the whole trip was getting in in the afternoon and going up to the rooftop bar and watching the sky turn colors as the sun set. The staff was the friendliest staff I have ever encountered. They are personable and were very accommodating. The location was the perfect location and walking distance from the Centro. Breakfast was included with our stay which was a nice touch. I will definitely stay here again when I am able to go back to SMA. The grounds were clean and peaceful. Definitely had a ZEN vibe.

My wife and I had a very enjoyable 4 night stay. Nice quiet room with king bed. Very nice property Friendly, helpful staff. A few things that could be improved: 1)The mini fridge in our room barely kept things cool. 2)The hotel didn't provide enough coffee pods for the machine. We only got 4 total for the 4 days. I requested some more. They cost $2.50 each, which seems very pricey for a small espresso pod.Other than those things everything was just right.

The hotel facilities are modern and stylish which looked just like the photos. We booked Superior Room (NAHUI) for 2 nights. Our room was at the 1st floor of the two-story building facing the neighbor private residence where we went through a nightmare. The room was dark and cold even after we turned on the heater and lights. We took a shower to warm up, but the water was not hot enough, so we had to wear sweater all night. We couldn't sleep at all due to noise of several dogs kept by the neighbor barking non-stop all night over the neighbor fence. The mattress was old and dented which contributed to the sleepless night. The guests who stayed at the 2nd floor told us that they had not been able to sleep for two nights because of the dogs barking. We complained about all of these issues to the reception in the next morning. The guy at the reception (who was the owner of the hotel) moved us to a smaller classic room (YEI) located away from the fence. He told us they had been dealing with the issue of the dogs with the neighbor for a while but they couldn't do anything. He neither expressed any sense of apology nor appreciation for us letting him know about the mattress issue. He refused to give us refund for the difference in the room rate and charged us breakfast on the 2nd day citing that it is free only on the 1st day. By knowing this issue, they shouldn't put any guests to these rooms until the issue is permanently resolved. This rip-off hotel ruined our trip. Avoid it.
