“Family that runs it is fantastic! Rooms are clean and comfortable with a view worth it alone! Quiet and the landscaping is beautiful! The restaurant is a must, I run a beef ranch and the ribeye was definitely one of the top 3 I’ve ever eaten! Will recommend and will be staying here again!”

“We flew in to San Jose around 12pm. We headed out of town towards La Fortuna. I thought this would get us out of the city and close to our first day of activities. The area was quiet. The room was very clean. We speak very little Spanish and the staff spoke very little English. However we were able to communicate to get what we needed. The hotel is one block from the Main Street. We found the supermarket with ease. The breakfast was wonderful. Fresh fruit with a large breakfast of beans...

“I loved the room, the breakfast, the pool, the grounds (there were wonderful paths leading to nearby goats that you could see on a neighboring property). There was a sauna and a hot tub but neither was on. There was a sign for yoga but I didn't see any yoga session.”

“Beautiful mountain paradise, great chalet with impressive design, looking at a mountain and little waterfall out the window. Magical, feels like a personal mountain and waterfall and river. So nice and minutes from DinoLand and the Blue Falls- great hikes and big waterfalls!!!”

“J'ai beaucoup aimé cette retraite dans la jungle. L'espace pour le yoga, les repas, le parcours d'auto thérapie par la forêt, les sentiers dans la jungle, tout y était pour pouvoir décrocher et vivre un moment de connexion avec la nature. Le seul point négatif est qu'il y avait des travaux au niveau de la rivière et du restaurant de l'hébergement et qu'il y avait donc beaucoup de bruit durant la journée. Mais à part cela, tout était parfait et je reviendrai certainement!”

“We chose to stay in the treehouse and had an excellent time. It’s very rustic! The pools and hot tubs are quite worn down and we chose not to use them, but we wanted a treehouse experience and boy did we get it for a very reasonable cost. There is a security guard which makes it feel safer. There is a restaurant on site which made it easy. Food was just ok for us. Still giving a great rating because we had such a fun experience. Beds are like rocks and pillows are huge and sucked but for one...

“These are pretty rustic cabins, but they are clean and comfortable. Also, the WiFi is fast. Expedia double booked the family cabin so when we arrived, the only cabin left was a studio with 2 full beds - and we are 5 people. The host called his daughter and she brought over a cot to put in the living area. We were so grateful not to have to find another place! I can't say enough nice things about this host. He lives next door and is totally willing to help out in any way. He has 3 milk cows...
