"I am extremely disappointed with my experience at UNA Hotels Galles Milano.
My sister and I booked this hotel expecting a relaxing stay, but our experience was disrupted by renovation works taking place directly on our floor. We were never informed about these works before arrival or at check-in.
At around 9:00am, we were woken by loud drilling and construction noise, making it impossible to rest. Had we known renovations were underway, we would not have booked this hotel.
When we raised the issue at reception, we were told that we should have informed staff and they could have moved us to another room. This ignored the fact that the hotel had failed to tell us about the renovation works in the first place.
We also asked to speak with the manager, who initially refused to meet with us. When he eventually did, the only solution offered was lunch in the hotel restaurant, which did nothing to address the disruption to our stay.
Despite submitting a formal complaint and providing video evidence of the drilling and construction noise, the hotel refused to offer a refund or any meaningful compensation.
What is most disappointing is not just the undisclosed renovation work, but the lack of accountability and customer care shown afterwards. Based on this experience, I would not stay here again and cannot recommend this hotel."
