Historic Cow Palace Inn
10/10 Excellent
"It was so clean and very comfortable! We especially loved the restaurant and bar"
Cobblestone Hotel & Suites - Lamar
10/10 Excellent
"Traveled to and from DFW to Lamar, Colorado. We visited the Grand Canyon Of Texas just a few hours south of Lamar, Co. on the return leg of the trip. We arrived about 7 pm, both rooms were ready, clean and well stocked with cups towels and coffee. The rooms were spacious and well lit for work and to read later for pleasure. The bed I was in was soft, clean and next to the A/C and Heat. I did not hear another guest when I was in the room except for doors closing to the rooms. Very normal and very acceptable. The breakfast was simple, clean and quiet at 630 am with fresh fruits, orange and apple juices along with the morning cup of Java.... there were plenty of other choices but those were mine that morning. I travel regularly and this was affordable and clean and quiet. I can't stress QUIET enough when on the road and in hotels. The kids and parents I observed at 730pm in the pool were having a great time, splashing, yelling and when I stepped into the hallway and closed the door to the pool. Quiet... This was my first stay and I am looking into the credit card they offer to their customers. A good stay in a small town, remember they close up most if not all businesses at 6pm and the restaurants close by 9pm except for fast food. I will stay at another property they manage no questions asked. I picked this off of the internet and do not have a regret."
Cobblestone Inn & Suites - Eads
10/10 Excellent
"When I walked in the first thing I noticed was no smell. Every where I stay usually has a smell that smells like it is covering another smell. The room was clean and very comfortable. Amazing staff. The breakfast items were wrapped separately. Very clean!"
Days Inn by Wyndham Lamar
10/10 Excellent
"Raj (front desk staff member) was very hospitable, humble and courteous. He rushed for some of the breakfast items to make those available for us immediately."
Travelers Lodge Motel & RV Park
8/10 Good
"The room was clean, quiet, and very reasonable price. The toilet ran all night. We checked in late in the evening and didn't want to bother the staff about that, but they will have a steep water bill if it continues. The outside of the building needs picked up and cleaned. Doors were open all around the building. We could not get the wi-fi to work. There was a coffee maker and coffee in the room, but no coffee pot or coffee cup to use the single serve unit."
