“We enjoyed our short but very sweet night at Palazzo Privatera. We arrived on the heels of Cyclone Henry, so much of the town was shut down, but our host Alfio was extremely insightful and helpful. He showed us around this mideivel treasure, hosted a wonderful breakfast, and made our stay so comfortable! Wish we would have had more time to enjoy the amazing property and town, but hope to return in the future to enjoy more of Mt Etna’s beauty and vineyards!”

“I had a great night at the hotel and honestly could’ve stayed longer, I was just there for the night because I’m based somewhere else for the month of March. Host who greeted me was very kind and communicative. The room was extremely comfortable and cute, the little terrace is nice to have as well. “This was a perfect unit in an ideal location. We didn’t need to leave the hotel too much with the incredible view. ”

“We had one of the largest rooms. This property is close to everything. The brothers that own it are very nice and will help to arrange transportation and offer advice on places to eat and visit if you ask. The complimentary minibar was a nice surprise after a walk from the bus station. The courtyard is nice too. Despite being in the centre of town the room was quiet. Would definitely recommend this property and would stay there again if visiting Taormina.”

“Stayed 4 nights during November 2025 Our stay at Castalia Apartments was mixed. While the location was convenient, the apartment itself had several drawbacks: • The entrance to the building was very dark, with no lighting available. • We experienced a few short power outages and, more significantly, lost hot water for about 12 hours due to an electrical issue with the water heater. • The apartment did not offer any view, which was disappointing given Taormina’s scenic surroundings.
