However I do feel that in some instances attention to detail was lacking : in the rooms - no replacement toilet rolls ; problems with no hot water for 2 of the 3 days we were there and no apology or explanation until it was raised on check-out . Room door soundproofing was also poor. Milk at breakfast was lumpy one of the mornings (did not try again) and panicked and muffin on the cooked menu were frozen through so obviously not...

We received a lovely welcome from Ricardo who accommodaed an earlier check in for us. We only stayed one night as a stop over before leaving for the airport but wish we had stayed longer.”

“This is a lovely hotel. It is a short walk over the bridges to Ortigia to all of the lovely things to see on the island. The rooms are really spacious and comfortable with everything you need including a little kitchen space if you want to eat in (although there are so many lovely restaurants nearby).
