I stayd at three hotel in sao paulo this time, one was mediocre, but this one was by far the best. Of course not a five tar hotel (slow elevators, overhearing others, cold gym), but superfriendly people, nice warm pool, nice and clean, ok breakfast - cosy and really friendly, i like it - recommend and will come back
A really good selection of food for breakfast, catering for all tastes. The room was alright, but we had issues with the aircon so were moved to another room. Other than that, all good.
This was the perfect stay for us in Sao Paulo, close to Paulista, the metro, and good eats/nightlife. Also a very safe area where we felt comfortable walking around. Staff were quite friendly and attentive. Room was very clean. There is a decently equipped gym as well as a pool and sauna. Breakfast buffet was also great and had a good variety.
Only feedback would be in the morning, there was hammering/banging noises coming from elsewhere in the hotel that made it difficult to sleep. Not sure if this is a common occurrence, but would suggest that work take place later in the day.
Overall we had a good experience. In fact, the hotel needs to improve the posted photos because they do the hotel a disservice. For example, the photo of the gym only reflects a treadmill or two. But, they have much more equipment than that. The hot tub and indoor pool are both heated to the same very want temperature, which was really nice. Also, our room had a jacuzzi in it, which I had no idea of until we arrived. I think those were very important points that were left out that could help the hotel gain more business. But, the bar is somewhat of a joke. There was no one really working the bar and when we wanted drinks delivered to the pool area, due to no bar in or near the pool, I had to physically go to the front desk to ask for attention at the bar. There is a phone near the pool that allows calling the bar, but no one ever answered. In fact, we wanted a second round of drinks but it was too much of an effort to get someone's attention to make the purchase. The hot buffet breakfast was decent, but not memorable. Also, the toilet flush in our room was really poor and needs attention. But during check out, no one even asked if we had any issues with our stay nor asked for suggestions. Would I stay there again? Probably. But, a change of management would help. Right now it appears that no one is really paying attention to the details that could bring in more revenue for the hotel and enhance the customer experience.

Ok Hotel if you get a good price
Hotel was ok. The lobby is beautiful but our room did not match the front lobby. The room we had on the 9th floor needed a reno. The bed was comfortable, wifi worked well and the shower had great water pressure with good pressure.
Breakfast was included and it was sufficient. Front desk staff was very good and spoke English.
Lots of restaurants around for dining. Overall I would give this hotel 6/10
I didn't like that I could not access my family floor with my key. You must use your key to utilize the elevator but you can only go to your room floor. The toliet seat are horrible. The seat is thin and it hurts your thighs when sitting. Complimentary breakfast was Okay for the most part, but it offered the same hot options every day no variety
Wifi worked well. King bed was comfortable. My housekeeper was really nice. Location was busy burger spot, bars, sports bars and shopping all around and a straight walkable shot to Paulista Ave.
I have stayed at Hotel Heritage multiple times already. This is the first time I’m writing a review though.
On the plus side, the hotel is conveniently located for all my needs - restaurants, church, Metro stations and thankfully, the street it is on is not closed during Carnival celebrations on the weekends. Also, I have to single out Kawani who is one of the best in their reception desk. She speaks English which is very helpful for international travelers who don’t speak Portuguese. She s also very helpful in general and has great friendly demeanor. They should have more like her in their team.

This is a perfect landing spot for visiting São Paulo, in a safe, central neighborhood with excellent options for dining nearby and most major sites within an hour’s walk (and if you don’t feel like walking, the metro station is not far and it’s easy to navigate by taxi or uber). The rooms were comfortable and clean, and the staff were amazing. Always helpful and kind.
