I stayed at the hotel last week and enjoyed it very much; the room was clean, modern, and well-equipped, and the hotel facilities, including the pool and the private beach, were accessible and well-maintained. Additionally, the parking area for guests was easily accessible, and the check-in and check-out processes were both fast and efficient. On the other hand, the wooden deck at the beach requires maintenance or renovation, and at breakfast, professionalism in operating the coffee machine was lacking, which forced us to settle for instant coffee.

Th location is very good, with beautiful views out to Corfu. The swimming pool is very clean, the staff is friendly and helpful, and breakfast offers more choices than any hotel I’ve ever stayed at…and the food is very good.

Flot hotel med en god beliggenhed lige ud til Middelhavet. Gode faciliteter herunder en stor pool og strand med bar. Morgenmaden var ikke den bedste kvalitet og der mangler større udvalg herunder yoghurt og cereal. Og morgenmadsområdet trænger til en kærlig hånd, da stole og borde er af ældre dato. Men på trods af dette gives de bedste anbefalinger herfra.

We stayed at Hotel Saranda in Albania for 9 nights and had a mixed experience. The positives were the excellent location, with a supermarket nearby and the port area just a 15–20 minute walk away, offering plenty of bars and restaurants. Our room was small but nicely decorated and kept spotlessly clean throughout our stay. The lady working in the breakfast area was lovely, friendly, and welcoming. There were also plenty of sunbeds available around both the pool and beach areas. Unfortunately, the reception service let the hotel down. The young receptionist was often abrupt and unwelcoming. Reception was frequently unattended, so if you needed assistance with a taxi, room query, or other request, you had to search for her. We often found her in the pool bar area, drinking & chatting with colleagues! Check-in was not a good experience. We were immediately given a list of rules, including only being allowed to change pool towels every other day and a €20 charge for losing the cardboard room key card. Utterly ridiculous! The sunbeds were old and worn, and the ashtrays around the beach beds were not emptied during our entire stay. As a non-smoker, it was unpleasant seeing overflowing cigarette butts every day. Breakfast was also disappointing & depressing, with very limited choice and little variety. Overall, the hotel has a great location and very clean rooms, but the reception service, breakfast, and beach facilities need improvement.

The property is a nice 20 minute walk to the promenade with lots of restaurants/bars/shops along the way. There is an area with beach chairs and cute bar down by the water on a platform. There is a very small “beach” where you are able to walk into the water. The pool is very deep but nice (bring a floaty). Breakfast was nice and the restaurant on site we enjoyed. The staff was great and the food was lovely! Couple weird things… you can’t bring outside food in to your room or by the beach. I found that very strange. Also when I returned my wet beach towels I was told I should be keeping them multiple days. At the price point I found it rude and she was not pleasant in general. Everyone else was extremely nice. Overall we liked the hotel but if I had to plan again I may go with something with an actual beach closer to the promenade. It’s a little misrepresented by the description but definitely checks all the boxes.

Jättemysig hotell som ligger ca 10 min promenad från saranda boulevard… bra läge … jättegod mat på restaurangen .. ända nackdel vår toalett va trasig o tog 2 dagar innan de kunde fixa den annars bra hotell

Das Hotel ist schön aber das Frühstück war sehr spartanisch und das Badezimmer nicht renoviert bzw hatte man beim Duschen und WC absolut 0 Privatsphäre, weil alles im Bad aus Glas war. Pool und Strand schön und sauber.

Great room and bathroom size. Excellent view from beach front. Breakfast was good with a great variety but seem like you had to eat early as hotel only put out so much. Pool area and swim area had plenty of room and chairs for everyone. There is a cafe down stairs if drinks or coffee is wanted by the beach.

Ett trevligt hotell med bra läge för en promenad in till stan och nära terminalen (ca 15 minuters promenad). Fin pool, men stranden var liten och stenig – jag skulle inte kalla det en strand, då den bara är cirka 10 meter bred. Frukosten var okej, men föll oss inte i smaken (en smaksak). Receptionspersonalen kändes oengagerad, men i övrigt var servicen bra.

Nice location, nice pool, needs some work though

The hotel comes with a nice, clean pool (which was never crowded) and a beautiful view towards Corfu. Breakfast is simple but nice and the staff were all friendly. Lots of lunch and dinner options nearby (there is no food except for breakfast at the hotel) We found the beds to be uncomfortable and in the 2 bedroom suites, only one of the rooms has A/C. Some rooms have renovated bathrooms but if you are unlucky like us, the old bathrooms are very run down, nowhere to hang towels and no shower curtains so water goes everywhere. It's okay for a few days in Sarande for a fsmily with kids.

Beautiful location, directly on the sea. We booked a sea view room and had wonderful views for seven nights watching cruise ships on the horizon and yachts coming in to the new harbor area. Breakfast buffet was good and had many selections, however there is no restaurant on-site for lunch and dinner, as listed incorrectly on Expedia. There are many dining options nearby. On-site bar is very convenient (cash-only) and has great views too. You can relax and sunbathe at the pool (many lounge chairs are available) or out on the rocky outcropping that juts out directly on the Ionian sea. The room itself is very modern and clean, however the safe is too small and can be picked up and taken away. Overall a great experience at this hotel.
