“The hotel was terrific. We went to enjoy USA 250th celebration and fireworks. We arrived and the hotel staff showed me a plaque where I had been designated guest of the day and they gave us a free bottle of nice wine and free valet parking. The room was clean and plenty of space. Our first night we went to the rooftop bar and ate light with a burger and beers. On the 4th we took a walk on the streets in the morning, very clean and safe. “fast check in & nice view”

“Staff that we encountered were all nice. Took away a star for two reasons: the elevators and the countless fees (which all downtown properties have....I just think they are dumb). There are 3 elevators for an 18 story hotel. And they go from the lobby....through all parking levels.....and up to each floor. We waited forever for these things. It became super annoying and I was over it quickly. The great things were the omelet bar, the bartender was excellent (so personable) and they had N/A Beer...

“Water took forever to get hot in shower. Walls in pool area need deep cleaning. Coffee service in room needs to be replenished daily along with trash removal. In a dog friendly hotel would be nice to bring dog to pool area so we can all enjoy it together. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Complimentary coffee in lobby was very good. Breakfast available was OK for price.”

“Super helpful staff”

“The place itself was nice. I love old style boutique hotels. No complaints on the hotel itself. My only complaint is from the Expedia site. The pictures on the site leads you to believe that some of the rooms have kitchens that don’t actually have kitchens. The standard rooms don’t have kitchens.”

“The location is downtown Sarasota, just half a mile away from the Ringling Causeway taking you over to Lido Keys St Armands Circle and Longboat Key. Perfect location! The staff was extremely polite and professional very helpful and all my requests were taken care of immediately! Highly recommended!”
