Wonderful Staff
We had a great experience with this hotel. The gentleman, Cleveland, was extremely pleasant, helpful, and went above and beyond.

Unfortunately there were children running and screaming up and down the hallway during the night. We called the front desk and someone came and told the parents to have them stop, but as soon as that person left, they started all over again. Not a good night’s sleep! The breakfast buffet was wonderful! The lady in charge was very attentive to refilling the buffet and the cleanliness of the area. The check in staff was very friendly.

Easy check in and friendly staff. Rooms are very clean. Excellent free breakfast in the morning, I just feel it should start earlier then 7am for us early risers. Convenient to beaches and downtown Venice. I would stay here again.

This property was average, no towels for pool, damaged items in the room, limited services, very musky smells in the corridors. It was close to the highway and many restaurants were nearby - a plus. The tiniest pool for a hotel near the beach I’ve ever seen😢

Far from comfortable and lobby staff was rude!
Far from a comfortable stay! First room I was assigned gradually got hotter and hotter. Tried to call the front desk and the phone wouldnt work. Tried calling the hotel from my cell phone and the line wouldn’t connect after following the prompts. Went to the lobby to switch rooms. The front desk agent was not kind at all. Seemed to be bothered about my request when I explained the ac and phone issue. Cut me off as I was telling her about trying to call on my phone. Rude… got to my next room which was very cool but had a horrendous stench! Went back down to the lobby, met with annoyance again by the agent and switched me again. The final room was cool and had a better scent but still not a fresh one. Mattress was very pilly, no pad, pillows had no support at all! And worse, the walls are so insanely thin I could hear every single thing my neighbor did. Blowing his nose, microwaving food, talking on the phone, belching peeing…. All of it!! Will not stay here again!!!

Mold on the ceiling. Bed sunk 4 inches in the middle. Musty smell in the room. Shower drain was 1/4" to high, water layed in shower.

Very cheap would not even give drinking water and had to repeatedly ask for room service and when they cleaned I was in the room because it was 6:00 at night. Breakfast was offered but was disgusting. Never again

Here at Holiday Inn Express, we offer a "daily refresh" that consists of replenishing your room amenities, full services are provided upon request during servicing hours between 9am-5pm. We have beverages and snacks available for purchase at the lobby market as well as a machine in the fitness room that dispenses filtered water and is accessible 24 hours a day for your pleasure. We apologize our breakfast buffet that consists of a variety of hot choices, such as eggs and bacon, as well as continental options were not to your liking. We hope that you will consider staying with us again in the future.

Room had a dehumidifier which would fill every 2-3 hours. An alarm went off on it in the middle of the night. Should have just unplugged it and had more humidity.

Overall a good stay, the shower in the bathroom could use some work as it looks like the shelf was fixed but I could still see cracks from where it was broken. The bathroom also needed just a touch more cleaning.

Nur durchschnittliches Hotel.
Beim Check-In zeigte sich, dass man mir ca. $100 mehr berechnen wollte, als man mir bei Buchung zugesichert hatte. Die Kollegen hatten das schnell berichtigt. Trotzdem: hier immer gut aufpassen. Das Zimmer war in Ordnung. Die Dusche sehr, sehr alt. Sie war richtig schmutzig oder so verscheuert, dass alles wie grosse Kratzer wirkten. Wir haben deshalb - und auch nur eine Nacht Aufenthalt - nicht geduscht. Die Lage des Hotels war allerdings sehr gut.

Everything was great except the bathroom in the shower area. Asked about getting another room, and was told that she was sorry about the conditions. The problem was that they were going to give us 5000 points on the IHG. It was told that due to the fact it was third-party that they could not give me anything else. I felt as if I was treated like a redheaded stepchild concerning giving me anything for compensation of the condition of the room.

Shameful.
The room was absolutely dank and smelly, of mold. the bathroom was dirty, tiles broken, sink had rust-showers was moldy. Upon entering the room was a dehumidifier that was full when we arrived. Two lamps didn’t turn on. Beds were sagging. It was gross. It was outdated and way over priced! The floor in lobby was dirty. Staff inattentive. $451/night! Keep your free breakfast and fix your hotel. These are Disney prices and they know how to run, decorate and manage hotels. Shameful. You owe us a refund!
