Savannah, Georgia hotel rooms at the Independent

"Amazing location and a beautiful mansion facade are the high points. The low points: $50 “lodging fee” for every single day of your stay; Rowdy kids in the only pool; Paper thin walls, babies screaming, loud TVs of other guests; Not as “modern” looking as the marketing makes it seem — the feel is “motel with a cocktail bar.”"

"Loved the location, so convenient to walk everywhere and see what the city had to offer. Staff friendly and helpful. Our view was a parking lot so that was a little disappointing otherwise all good!"

"Staff were not kind, meaning the staff behind the front desks. Snappy didn't want to answer more questions that we had. Overall rude experience.Rooms were super clean/housekeeping was so kind. The elevator inspection was expired by 2 years, huge safety concern."

"The TVs need to be upgraded. We were unable to stream or watch movies. Cant use Netflix or any aps at all"

"Don’t stay in any of the rooms with 11… we were given 411 and I could touch the elevator with a broomstick. Luckily the front desk changed it for us. Otherwise great stay. Drinks from the bar were good. Not too far of a walk from the best spots in downtown. Would stay here again. "

"Under construction, elevators slow but overall great place conveniently located and super clean and friendly. Definitely recommend staying!"
