“Everything about our stay at the Douglas was beyond our expectation. Friendly staff who went the extra mile to insure we were well taken care of during our time on the isle of Arran. Food was excellent. Our entire party of 9 (five rooms) all want to return again in the future. ”

“We had a great stay at the Kyle hotel. It was very clean and had all the amenities we needed as well as lots of extra room! The staff was very nice and promptly tended to any of our needs. Our stay included breakfast, which was really delicious and a bonus to have. The only complaint I could possibly say is that the bed was very uncomfortable. Other than that, this is a great place to stay, especially if you are headed across to Isle of Skye”

“ A grand pile in it's day, undergoing a gradual and much needed, refurbishment. The location is it's biggest pull, set quite high above town, with simply stunning views from frontal elevations.The welcome and general ambience proved pleasant and the public areas comfortable, tasteful and pleasing. Our (rear) bedroom was a relatively easy climb up the wide staircase to the first floor. It proved just adequate. Furnishings were functional, but a tad utility and tired, as were fixtures / fittings...
