“Our family loved it here! The location is absolutely stunning, right at the base of the Avatar mountains. The two pools are beautiful, and the kids had a blast. Breakfast was delicious with great local options, and the free shuttle to the park made everything so easy. Big thanks to the super helpful front desk staff—they booked all our tickets and helped plan our days. We felt so well taken care of. Highly recommend!”

“The hotel is located in the Chinese community so if you are looking for authentic atmosphere with exceptional host, this is for you. It is not a tourist trap so don't expect a pool or trendy shopping. It is close to the gate to enter the mountain trails and wondrous views. The host will assist you as an expert guide, better than paid tours”

“Lovely and homely stay at the lodge. We were pleasantly upgraded to a cabin room which we loved. Rain was extremely welcoming and helped us with all our luggage and even brought out a heater to our room as soon as we asked. Great communication, amazing location for the Zhangjaijei mountains, and Rain even dropped us and picked us up. There is a tea master as well who makes home made teas and some cute pets. Truly feels like a lovely family run cosy home. Would definitely recommend!”

“Wonderful place with a wonderful owner. We were here in December and in that time of the year, be prepared to have warm clothes. As in every house around, you wear warm clothes inside as well. No central heating but AC in the rooms. The owner of the place is very helpful and everything can be solved thanks to a translation device/application, good mood and patience. “The location near the West gate of the National Forest Park is perfect. The english speaking front desk Eason, was super attentive from the initial greeting, advice on the park, drop offs at the gate (although only a short walk) taking us to the ticket gate etc. We can not speak more highly of the service. The food was excellent and the room super.”

“The hotel is in a nice position along the river and the staff is very helpful, offering to plan your day and buy tickets on your behalf. The structure is quite run down, is clear that it used to be a very nice hotel but is now falling into disrepair, a shame as it has very good potential”
