The rooftop restaurant has great views and tasty food. Teresa at the front desk spoiled us by ensuring everything went smoothly, booked restaurant reservations and excursions for us, and was absolutely lovely to chat with. I can’t recommend the Ellysian enough, we would go back in a heart beat. ”

There were half a dozen palapas spread out on the beach in front of the rental units and the HUGE pool that has a swim-up bar. “Fantastic stay! The rooms were beautiful, clean and tastefully decorated and equipped. The property is breathtaking and well kept. We stopped at many hotel resorts on the way, checked them out and none compared to this one. The included breakfast we were able to order of the menu was delicious, the staff extremely helpful and polite. The site offered lunch, and had a great bar. We had an unforgettable stay-recommend!!!”

“Our group of two couples spent a week in a villa on the beach side of the Umaya Resort and absolutely loved it. The unit was nicely appointed and truthfully feet away from the Caribbean Sea. Anytime we had a concern they were very prompt to respond. They transferred us to and from the Placencia Airport free of charge.
