“Staff was friendly and helpful. Booked us a wine tasting and tour at check in. Recommended restaurants in the area. Breakfast buffet was delicious, lots of fresh food choices and an omelette station. Great pool area with breathtaking views of the Douro River. Comfy sun loungers. Our room was clean and spacious. Only downside was a lot of steps up and down from our room to the restaurant and pool. Not ideal for anyone with mobility issues. ”

“The Quinta da Moita is out of the way of the Douro Valley but well worth the detour. I stayed there 3 nights on a solo trip. The owners are fantastic, very sweet. The place is perfect for quiet respite, clean rooms, comfortable beds, great breakfast! I recommend to anyone for solo stay or couple gateaway! Their wines are great too! Just make sure to have food for dinner if you want to relax for the evening as everything is pretty far. But the drive is gorgeous and fun! ”

“Charmerende. Dejligt værelse med udsigt til poolen. Vær opmærksom på at nogen værelser har vinduer højt, så man ikke kan se ud (kælderen). Flere grupper af stole/borde udenfor, så man kunne sidde og hygge. Flinke værter. Morgenmad ok, men der manglede hele tiden noget (var der i 3 dage). I området var der gode afmærkede vandrerstier. Et stort supermarked. ”

“Our room was so comfortable with an exterior door and sitting area. One of 10 rooms on the property it was a quiet location. Breakfast is delicious overlooking the river and valley. Small menu is available all day (til 5:00) and special dinner is served nightly at 7:30 from a very limited but delicious menu. Make reservations before 5 pm of the day you wish eat.
