โThis hotel has a great location. You can walk to the ferry in two minutes and the train station in five. The staff was very friendly, especially reception desk, where Mateo and Julia were very helpful to us and answering our questions and coordinating things. Laura provided a very thorough briefing when we checked in about not only the rental but also about all the local places to see and eat at. All make marked on a very convenient map for us. โOne of the nicest views in Lake Como region is right outside your hotel room. The Pool area and areas for outside seating near the pool are perfect spots to spend time in the late afternoon as you head into the golden hour. The staff is all professional, friendly and helpful. โThis guest house was magical! Joseph (the proprietor) bent over backwards to make our stay wonderful-- he met us late at night to check in, made us special breakfasts for our kids, arranged a dinner reservation at an amazing restaurant, and so much more. The room was clean and the air conditioning worked great, and the location in Lierna was absolutely perfect-- a sweet little street near the main plaza and harbor. We would return in a heartbeat!โ

Negative- it is situated off of a very steep incline. Itโs .7 miles uphill from the ferry dock. You can take a bus and get dropped closer to the guest house, but there still is quite a walk from the bus stop. Also, there isnโt a place on the bus for luggage.
