"A peaceful hotel owned by the sweetest family. Our room had a private balcony and gorgeous views of the sea. The property is approx 200 meters outside the small village with a private beach but the owners will pick you up at the ferry or at the exit from the Samaria gorge if you coordinate ahead of time. "Hmm. This is a very good property and would be excellent anywhere else in the world but standards in Greece/Crete are very high. It's a little gloomier inside photos suggest with only limited natural light. There is construction work going on literally adjacent to the property currently so expect some noise and essentially the outdoor balcony space is off-limits during the daytime.
