The room was very clean, and the bed was very comfortable. I had asked for a top floor, river view, but was given the bottom floor on the end. There was a street light right outside my window, shining directly in the room. And because there were people walking close by on the riverfront, and a bench very close, which had people sitting and talking on it till 10:30 PM, I had to close the blackout curtains, early, which negated my river view. There also weren’t cups for my in room coffee. And I never did find the ice. The breakfast was just ok, very little protein.

Pros: Super friendly staff and comfortable beds. Remodeled lounge area was nice and the location to the pier areas was perfect. Cons: Room layout was challenging to get around the desk chair, plumbing from adjacent rooms was really loud, and the sink faucet leaked at the base. The room served its purpose and was adequate.

I liked that we were able to open the window s to sleep with fresh air coming in. We turned off the A/C & slept very well listening to the channel outside. The hotel was very clean & had been recently remodeled. The breakfast provided was so-so. Maybe add some freshly cooked hard boiled eggs to the breakfast for some quick protein. Over-all, very nice stay!

it was a great overnight stay for me- polite and accommodating staff, super clean and fresh scented room, loved my sunshine view (which i requested and was granted), breakfast was great (again, with a good view), got an access to the boardwalk and love how the decors/ambiance give that homey vibe, and the quietness that i needed to relax and reset for the week ahead. worth my drive and will definitely be back soon!

The staff was the best, especially Jack working during the day and helping us be comfortable in the common areas, including putting out cushions on the new patio furniture. The room was very clean. Ned’s super comfortable. It is a little outdated and the bathroom is very small, but it worked for the two of us. The downstairs common area has recently been renovated is super cute, comfortable stocked with breakfast items in the morning and coffee and water throughout the day. It has beautiful views of the black river and games to play for young and old. We will be back!
