One, the shower was warm but not hot. And two, and this is my fault, these are rooms above a pub, and on a Saturday night in prime tourist season with live music playing till near midnight, and street noise as well, I did not get a good night’s sleep. “The host was unfriendly and hadn't turned heat on so was very cold. Kitchen and bathroom had no heat. Terrible shower and refrigerator was worthless owner told us a stick in the freezer. Even her son said this was a nuisance. I would stay at West Cork Hotel in Skiberean again never again at Rineen.”

Our room was cosy and clean, although the absence of a lift can prove problematic for anyone with a disability. Well located, the hotel affords easy access to the surrounding area. Overall, the hotel exudes a homely feel, offering good food, attentive service and comfortable accommodation.”
