We booked this hotel for a family celebration! The staff went above and beyond, decorating the table, accommodating complex dietary needs, making sure everything was perfect in our rooms. Anniversary present

Our overnight stay was an anniversary gift from our 3 sons, along with dinner on the Steam Train from Sheringham to Holt. Disabled access and nearby car parking were very useful and breakfast was excellent. Staff were helpful and the location was peaceful with beautiful grounds.

A welcoming, friendly hotel with character. Beautiful surroundings, a regular visit by a muntjac deer. We had a view of the sea from our bedroom. The food was excellent and the atmosphere was relaxing.

The room was exceptionally spacious and full of character. Many hotels are a bit soulless but this is far from the case here. The staff were professional, friendly and always with a smile. I've seen a few reviews have commented on 'hidden charges' - breakfast isn't included but this is clear from the very start and there's no pressure to eat here in the morning. If you do, however, the food is excellent (we had dinner) and reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
