"Marlies and her husband served us a special and beautiful breakfast buffet. The peace and quiet of their hotel and surrounding felt amazing! We needed a last moment stay and chose Hotel Lucia. We arrived late and there was a nice vending machine available where you could choose dryed sausages and even a variety of beer an wine!! We were pleased with our room and especially with the thoughtful service from the owners."

"Oberstdorf is a beautiful hiking paradise with plenty of Hotels. Hence there is no need to stay in the sub-par Fuggerhof where you are put into a basement room while the unfriendly front desk staff tries to up-sell you into an above ground room - as if that were a special feature. Just to be clear - there was no mention of below ground rooms during booking and the basement room wasn't a walkout basement but did have a small window at the top of the wall, eye-level with the grass roots of the ill...

"Everyone was very warm and friendly, and really helpful with suggestions for local hiking! The room was spacious, and very comfortable. Be aware though that the front desk has limited hours! Highly recommended, and I even extended my stay..."
