"Gorgeous views and excellent experience overall with staff, our room, and the included meal and drink selection. Only complaint-my son along with at least two other guests I heard, cut his toe in the pool, so maybe it needs to be resurfaced. The gym and yoga instructor were excellent (at Rose next door). I felt perfectly safe to walk around by myself within the compound. Did feel a bit strange to hear music in English and generally be spoken to in English in Mexico, but I realize they cater to mostly English-speaking foreigners."
"I celebrated my 40th birthday at Hyatt Ziva, and it became one of the best memories for my son and me. We had an amazing and relaxing vacation. The resort is beautiful, clean, and well maintained. The food was delicious, and the customer service throughout the resort was outstanding.A special thank you to the bell man Alberto, Luis and Pocano (I apologize if I misspelled his name). They were incredibly kind, friendly, and welcoming. They spent time talking with my son, teaching him Spanish, and making him feel included. My son absolutely adored them, and they made our trip even more special. The only disappointment was the spa experience. I had a $250 spa credit and was checked in by Tania. Everything started off well, and I was taken to the sauna area before my treatment. She recommended adding a face mask but never mentioned it would cost an extra $20. I didn’t mind paying the additional charge, but I wish the cost had been explained beforehand. At checkout, I was asked to sign twice, and an additional $229 was charged to my room, which was confusing. Later, during my final hotel checkout, the front desk informed me that I had been charged for 50-minute massages, even though I had already provided my $250 spa credit. I was surprised and had to wait while the receptionist contacted the spa to correct the mistake. The receptionist was very helpful, and I know the error was not her fault, but it took extra time and made for an awkward ending to an otherwise wonderful vacation."
Villa del Palmar Beach Resort Cabo San Lucas - All Inclusive
10/10 Excellent
"Hospitality was great. We had all-inclusive, and the food at this facility was top-notch. They had several restaurants that offered great dining options and beverages as well. The swimming pool as a delight. Will I visit this facility again? Definitely a YES.
Only drawback is the manner they try to sell you hotel packages without coming out straightforward. I feel like the proposition is good, but the marketing approach isn’t great.
My advice to travelers is, be assertive from the beginning of the conversation and let them know if you’re interested or not.
Asides from this, we had so much fun. Our room had great views of the pool and the ocean. Great value for money."
"The hotel location is good and quality of food is really good. Some member's of the staff are doing really well, congratulations to Carmen, Pedro, Sylvana, Carlos, Johan, Cesar. But service could be better, for instance the waiting time at the main bar and 12 tribes restaurant takes too long some times. The hotel needs a full renovation including the gym. But the hotel rooms are in good condition."
