"Staying at The Block was a truly enjoyable experience. Lots of history there and we stayed for four nights. This small hotel was renovated from an old Sheriff's Office and town jail so don't expect a lot of fancy five-star amenities, but it is well taken care of clean, and comfortable. Upon arrival, there was a mix-up in our reservations (my fault) but we were met by Jennifer who helped us correct the mix-up and then continued to make our stay enjoyable for the entire week. She is very personable and an invaluable addition to the Block staff, always there to offer suggestions of things to do, places to go or find places to eat. Thank you, Jennifer for an amazing job.
