"I did not stay there. I was not able to cancel my reservation due to hotel.com errors and the hotel would not assist with the cancellation because it was done through hotel.com. I have stayed at this hotel before and do recommend the hotel, as it is nice in every way. I will not be using hotel .com for booking unless they make this right. "The hotel canceled my reservation without notice. They said my card declined but how can that be when I paid in full when I booked the room three weeks ago. The employee Patrick was no help at all and was very smug. I will admit my husband was for upset after a flight and having to drive an hour and 30 minutes from the Tuscan airport to find out the canceled my room. Patrick stated he couldn't do anything since I booked through a third party. I have used Expedia for years and have never had a problem with any booking. This hotel did not want my business and it was very clear that Patrick did not want to help. Thank goodness when I called Expedia and told them about the incident that happened they were able to get me a room at another hotel and 11pm at night. So I don't think it was a problem with third party booking. Someone messed up my reservation at this hotel and didn't want to take accountability for their mistake."
