The room was really good, great amenities, and nice pool. It’s extremely close to the beach and local shops and dining. I will say the one problem was there was no clear mentioning that the tiki bar is right in front of room doors. Our room was in the corner of the tiki bar right behind the stage where subpar singers played. Music was super loud inside our room but luckily it turned off by 9. But what can you expect when you get a really cheap rate for a hotel 2 minute walk from the beach.

Friendly staff, very convenient location for beach access. Resort offers you beach chair, small cooler and the wagon car to transport all your stuff back and forth to the beach. Everything was very clean. Downside, very small room, room service is not done unless requested, we stayed 2 nights, pool access is unlimited and most of the rooms are facing the pool, which unless you party till 2 or 3 am, it’s impossible to sleep. Door access to pool and rooms where no working property so anyone could have had access to the resort.

This was a very cute, remodeled motel. I stayed with my two daughters in the king/bunk bed room. It was very modern and clean. The pool area was very clean as well as the rest of the grounds. Beach access was super easy, right across the street. And restaurants and shops were all walkable in the quaint, little Siesta Village. I liked that bottled water and ice were available free of charge upon request. Housekeeping services are only provided upon request, which isn’t preferable but it worked out. Towels only refreshed upon request, too. Overall, we had a great experience and I would recommend it to other families. Beach wagons, coolers, chairs and umbrellas all provided which is awesome! But I do NOT recommend using a wagon as it is way too difficult to drag across the sand. Better to ask everyone to carry something!

Highly recommend The Big Tiki for hotel/suite, pool, food, parking and the best is the service and management team is the best on Siesta Key! Amazing accommodations and surprisingly quiet in the suites! Pool clean and fresh towels daily upon request for the beach too!
