“This was the first time I’ve stayed at this motel. Check in was easy and smooth. The room was quiet and clean. Plenty of amenities. The beds were comfortable and lots of pillows with various levels of firmness. The only downfall is the parking. First night I parked right near my room but second night I had to park down the hill and out of my sight. Had to wait for someone to leave to park closer so I could load my car.”
“This is an older place but it was clean. There are only three rooms upstairs and I got one which I really liked. It seemed a little quieter and more private. I even had a little view of the ocean. It's not fancy and I'm rating it based on similar motels.”
“Room was comfortable but the staff was non-existent. When we checked in there was a line of two other guests who had been standing there for 10 minutes. There was no staff in sight. There was a sign with a number to call but no one answered. Finally after about 10 minutes someone finally showed up but did not even offer an apology or explanation. The lady in the room next to us got locked out and could not find anyone in the office and could not reach anyone on the phone to help her get back...
“We had a private deck with an open view of the Smith River, and the ocean beyond. The unit was recently renovated and set up to accommodate an extended stay if one wished: great appliances, dishes, drinkware, etc. We only stayed a night, so we didn't take advantage of those. Very quiet setting, which was great.”
